Perth - Western Australia

Welcome to Perth, Western Australia, Australia
Perth might be as far west as you can go in Australia, but without a doubt, it is well worth the journey, "Perth Rocks"

There are flights available from all major cities in Australia, or you can take the wonderful drive across from the east coast side of Australia, and once you arrive you will notice the friendly west Australian atmosphere, and get a feel as to why they say "west is best". Perth is not a big city as such, but it is the hub of this vast township. The suburbs are easy to get to on great roads, with lots of natural space between city and suburbs.

It is said that Perth is Australia's sunniest capital city, with a mediterranean style of climate. One of the great things about Perth, and its sunny climate is the fact it is set on the magnificent Swan River. Most of the water frontage is public land, so tourists and locals alike get to enjoy this relaxed atmosphere on the river, with many cafe's and bars located on its foreshore.

There are also some very wealthy neighborhoods in these riverside suburbs, such as Kings Park. At the Swan rivers mouth is the historic port village of Fremantle, which features many old style street cafes and bars, where visitors can enjoy sailing, fishing and many watersports and entertainments.

Upstream is the states oldest wine area, the Swan Valley, where tourist can come and enjoy the unique tasting wines and local produce.

While Perth is one of the remotest capital cities anywhere in the world, once you arrive for a holiday here, you will get the feel that because it is so far away from anywhere else, it is part of the unique charm of Perth.

We recommend everyone enjoys a holiday to Perth and the surrounding areas of Western Australia, beacuse it is such a big state to enjoy on your holidays, with so much to see and do, you will want to come back.
