Thredbo

Alpine
Village

Australia,

friendly
atmosphere

longest
runs

the
resorts

the
country

a
vertical
drop

metres.
The
resort
has
an
extensive
lift
system
with
three
detachable
quad
chairlifts,
one
quad
chair,

double
chairs

five
t-bars.
Lifts
start
to
open
at
8.30am
with
the
last
lift
closing
at
4.30pm.
Thredbo
ski
school
has
programs
for
all
types
of
skiers
and
snowboarders
from
first
timers
to
extensive
training
programs
for
the
experts,
ski
hosts
are
also
available
twice
a
day
and
will
give
you
a
free
two
hour
guided
tour
the
mountain.
Food
and
refreshments
are
available
on
the
mountain
at
a
choice
of
four
mountain
food
outlets
as
well
as
a
choice
of
eateries
at
the
two
base
stations.
Ski
and
snowboard
hire
is
provided
at
both
base
stations.
Summer
is
also
a
great
time
to
visit
Thredbo
with
a
nine
hole
PGA
rated
golf
course,
four
tennis
courts
with
lights,
fantastic
walking
trails
and
some
awesome
mountainbike

Four
resorts,
Perisher,
Smiggins
Hole,
Guthega
and
Blue
Cow
have
all
been
amalgamated
and
are
now
part
of
one
huge
resort
called
Perisher
Blue.Covering
an
area
of
1250
hectares
with
50
interconnecting
lifts
spanning
seven
mountain
peaks
this
is
the
largest
resort

the
southern
hemisphere.

school

instructors

around

Blue

Jindabyne

via
Kosciusko
Road

Perisher

Guthega,

by
the
Skitube(a
train
through

Alpine
