Multi Ride Bus Services in Sydney

CITY HOPPER
The City Hopper ticket provides you with unlimited travel on Sydney Buses and City Rail services in the central Sydney area. (bounded by North Sydney, Redfern and Kings Cross rail stations)
BUS TRIPPER
The Bus Tripper ticket provides you with unlimited travel on Sydney's bus system for a day. Tickets must be purchased before you travel and cannot be used on Sydney Explorer or the Airport Express.
DAY PASS
The Day Pass is ticket gives you unlimited travel on Sydney's Bus system plus unlimited travel on Sydney Ferries regular services for one day. Tickets must be purchased before you travel and cannot be used on Sydney Explorer or the Airport Express.
DAY ROVER
The Day Rover ticket provides unlimited travel on all regular Sydney Bus Services, City Rail Trains and Sydney Ferries. Tickets must be purchased before you travel. (Rail services are bounded by the Red Travel Pass Zone)
RED TRAVEL PASS
A TravelPass ticket provides unlimited 7-day, quarterly or yearly travel throughout the Zones for which it has been issued. TravelPass must be obtained before you travel and cannot be purchased from bus drivers. TravelPass is designed for regular users of public transport and provides all the convenience without the hassle or delay of joining the queue for tickets every day or searching for the right change. There is a range of TravelPass tickets for combinations of CityRail trains, Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries. It's simply a matter of choosing the TravelPass which best fits your traveling needs. Concession TravelPass is available to any adult or full-time student with an appropriate concession authority. School children under 16 years are entitled to the concession rate of fare. Concessions are not available for quarterly or yearly tickets.
TRAVEL TEN
Travel Ten tickets are valid for ten bus trips. There are five different categories: Red, Blue, Green, Orange, and Purple depending on the distance you wish to travel. Travel Ten tickets are available from newsagencies and must be purchased prior to travel.
REGULAR SERVICES
The bus service is extensive and operates throughout the metropolitan area. Single and return journey tickets are purchased when boarding the bus, but for weekly passes and Travel Ten tickets go to any newsagent. For timetable and bus route information -

SYDNEY EXPLORER
The "Red" Sydney Explorer Bus offers unlimited travel in air- conditioned buses to Sydney's biggest and best tourist attractions. You can get off anywhere along the route, joining the bus again at any time. With a Sydney Explorer ticket, you have the ultimate in freedom and flexibility of travel, with the finest sights Sydney has to offer. A total of 28 diverse stops offer spectacular sightseeing. Here are some of the highlights: Sydney Opera House; The Hard Rock Cafe; Kings Cross; Chinatown. Sydney Aquarium and the Queen Victoria Building. The "Red" Sydney Explorer departs from Circular Quay at 20-minute intervals every day from 8.8.40am, with the last service departing Circular Quay at 5.30pm, traveling a 35 kilometre circuit of places of interest. Board anywhere along the route where you see the distinctive red Sydney Explorer stop sign, and leave at any attraction along the way. If you want to stay on the bus from start to finish, the full circuit takes two hours to complete.
For great sights, great shops and great surf, you can't beat the "Blue" Bondi & Bay Explorer, which travels to the eastern harbour and bayside areas that have put Sydney on the map all around the world. Like the Sydney Explorer buses, this service allows you to make your own journey of discovery. The 20 stops along this route offer wonderful opportunities to take in some of the harbour and coastline's unforgettable views and indulge in the relaxed and vibrant coastal atmosphere that characterizes this part of the city. Here are some of the highlights: Rose Bay Convent; Watsons Bay; Bondi, Bronte or Coogee beaches; shopping at Double Bay, or the Paddington markets.
The "Blue" Bondi A Bay Explorer departs from Circular Quay at 30-minute intervals every day from 9am, with the last service departing Circular Quay at 4.15pm, travelling a 35 kilometre circuit which takes two hours to complete.
AIRPORT EXPRESS
The Airport Express is a direct bus express service to take you to and from Sydney City, Kings Cross, or to your accommodation on route. Stops include: Central Railway, Town Hall, Queen Victoria Building, Wynyard, Circular Quay, The Rocks, Oxford St, Taylor Square, Kings Cross, Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay.
Buses run regularly every day from 5.30am-11.00pm and costs $8 return ($5 child) and $5 one way ($3 child).

FERRIES

Magnificent beaches, beautiful bushland, palatial harbourside homes, quiet bays, breathtaking ocean views; Sydney Harbour has it all, And with over 135 years of cruising the harbour, no-one is better qualified to show these spectacular sights than Sydney Ferries. Today there are 27 vessels in the fleet with 5 different classes of ferries, which include majestic Manly Ferries, high speed JetCats, the 'Lady Class' ferries, catamarans and the smooth high speed RiverCats.

For a short harbour cruise you can't beat a ferry to Mosman and Neutral Bay. In only half an hour you can experience the beauty of Sydney and the harbour foreshores. Regular services such as these start at just $2.80 per trip. Departures are from Circular Quay, right next to the fabulous Opera House, historic Rocks and Royal Botanic Gardens. If you really want to discover Sydney Harbour, take one of the special morning, afternoon or evening cruises.

Sydney Ferries all-in-one tickets are the easy, affordable way to see Sydney's top attractions. Take a trip to one of the world's finest zoos, Taronga, with a ZooPass. Your ticket includes a delightful ferry cruise to Taronga Zoo Wharf, an aerial safari ride and admission. Adult $18.00, child $9.20 Ferries leave from Wharf 2 every 30 minutes. With an AquariumPass you get entry to one of the world's most spectacular aquariums, Sydney Aquarium, and a return ferry into the bargain. Located at Darling Harbour, the Maritime Museum, Sydney Casino and a host of restaurants are just a short stroll away. Just $17.90 for adults, $9,20 for children and $47.00 for a family of five. Manly offers wonderful beaches and a variety of entertainment including Oceanworld, a fabulous aquarium where you can see a stunning display of living coral plus hand feeding of sharks every day! An OceanPass costs $17.00 for adults, $8.50 for children or $43.50 for a family of 5 and includes a fantastic return ferry cruise as well as admission.

HARBOUR CRUISE
This 2.5 hour cruise departs Circular Quay daily at 10.00am. You will first journey east past the Opera House and Botanical Gardens before heading west up the historic Parramatta River and Lane Cove River. Commentary is provided throughout. Adults $16.00, Child $12.00.

AFTERNOON HARBOUR CRUISE
This 2.5 hour cruise departs Circular Quay weekdays at 1.00pm and weekends and Public Holidays at 1.30pm . First you will voyage east to just inside Sydney Heads before exploring the waterways of Middle Harbour. Adults $16.00, Child $12.00.

EVENING HARBOUR CRUISE
This 1.5 hour cruise departs Circular Quay at 8.00pm Mondays to Saturdays. Enjoy the city lights as you cruise past the Opera House and Fort Denison and then pass under the Harbour Bridge. Adults $14.00, Child $10.00.

City Rail

Single
One way journey between two nominated stations on the day the ticket is purchased. Return Return journey between two nominated stations on the day the ticket is purchased.

Off-Peak Return
Return journey between two nominated stations commencing after 9am on weekdays (earlier in some outlying areas) and all day on weekends and public holidays. You can save up to 45% off the return fare.

CityHopper
Unlimited rail journeys after 9am weekdays and all day any weekend or public holiday between the City Circle stations Central, Town Hall, Museum, St James, Circular Quay, Wynyard, Martin Place as we1I as-Kings Cross and across the Harbour to Milsons Point and North Sydney.

Pensioner Excursion
If you have a Pensioner Concession Card or Seniors Card, you can travel on a Pensioner Excursion ticket. This gives you unlimited all day travel in the area you select, as well as on Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries services.

Note All the above tickets are available at ticket vending machines and CityRail ticket offices.

Monorail

The monorail is the best way of reaching Darling Harbour. Its seven station loop runs anticlockwise from Darling Harbour through the city, with trains departing every five minutes.
