Attractions in Mornington Peninsula

One of the main attractions about the Mornington Peninsula region, is that its only a short drive from Melbourne. Another is the wonderful selection of cool climate wines and the local food that is produced in the region. The region is well serviced with accommodations, and fine restaurants. And if you like the ocean, there is 3 sides to it here. It has a wonderful nature feel to it with many species of Australian wildlife living in the national parks.

Arthurs Seat
Offering great views across the bay to Melbourne. You can either walk the 300 mts to the top or drive. There is a restaurant at the top and also picnic facilities. Arthurs Seat Maze is just up the road, with excellent themed gardens and mazes.

Mornington Peninsula National Park
Situated on the south west coast in the Bass Strait. Windswept beaches, a walking track that travels from Portsea surf club to Cape Schanck, with accommodation available at the historic lighthouse
