The Reef Hotel Casino
The casino is built to the scale and proportion of the old Customs House which is incorporated into the development site and topped with a four story conservatory housed in a glass dome. The conservatory is open day and night with dining among the native orchids, ferns and palms.

Skyrail
Skyrail takes you above the rainforest canopy between Cairns and Kuranda on a six person gondola. Karunda
You can get to Kuranda on the Kuranda Tourist Train that winds its way up the mountain, past waterfalls of the pristine Barren Gorge, by bus, by private car or on the world's longest rainforest cable way - Skyrail. Known as the village in the rainforest, this tiny hamlet is famous for its picturesque beauty, its nature and cultural based enterprises. The big attractions are A.J. Hacket Bungy, Karunda Wildlife Noctarium, which has the world's best display of nocturnal animals of Australian tropical rainforests, and The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary which is the biggest in Australia, housing 2000 butterflies in a forest setting. Guided tours bring you close to huge Cairns Birdwing and the iridescent Ulysses.

The internationally acclaimed multi award winning Tjapukai Dance Theatre performs every day at 11.00am and 1.30pm in their own airconditioned theatre in Kuranda. This overwhelmingly popular group holds the 1994, 1993 and 1992 National Tourism Award. Authentic, professional, entertaining and done with sensitivity, this show has become a world icon for cultural tourism.

Wild World
A wildlife park with koalas, crocodiles, kangaroos, cassowaries, wombats, emus, snakes, birds and dingoes. Includes an Aboriginal Culture Show which brings together nature and culture through demonstration and dance.
